Services

Breathable building work for London's solid-wall and period housing stock. Lime and clay plastering, natural insulation, damp remediation, external render, and brick and stone restoration.

Every service below shares one principle: a building constructed without a cavity or a damp-proof course has to be able to dry, and every material we put on it has to allow that. Where a conventional approach would seal the wall, we do the opposite, and the pages explain why in enough detail to judge the argument for yourself.

The Technical Basis

The arguments made across these pages are set out in full, with references, in our white paper series. It is written for architects, specifiers and homeowners who want the building physics rather than the sales pitch.

Where the white papers give the reasoning, the build-ups page gives the specification: the assemblies we install, layer by layer, with thicknesses, named products and calculated U-values.
