Asking for a Quote
The quote form takes a couple of minutes and asks what the room needs, how many rooms, roughly what size, and whether ceilings are included. It gives us enough to come back with something useful rather than a number plucked from the air.
If the building needs a plan before it needs a price, ask for a Refurbishment Mission Plan instead. It is free, and it is a strategy for repairing or refurbishing the building whether or not you end up using us.
Worth having ready
- Photographs of the affected walls, inside and out
- Roughly when the building was built, if you know
- What has already been tried, particularly any previous damp treatment
- Whether the property is listed or in a conservation area
If You Are Ringing About Damp
Damp is a symptom rather than a diagnosis, and the same stain can be produced by at least five different mechanisms. Before you commit to anything, it is worth reading how we diagnose it, particularly the section on why chemical injection and cement render usually make a solid wall worse.
We are not selling a damp-proofing product, so sometimes the answer is a gutter repair and nothing more.
